2297 wont start on windows8.1

#1

2296 works fine
2297 ease notesmigrate the various list to sort the rendering from explicit names to a more generic key based mapFixing the function with no implementation

anyone else got this prob?

#2

Sorry Judas, on version 2300. Try an upgrade?

#3

its fine on win 7, just everything beyond 2296 wont start on my surface pro 2 running win 8.1
i downgraded to find where the break happened

#4

Same problem on my Surface Pro 1 running Windows 8.1, Intel HD 4000 GPU … interface.exe immediately exits without displaying anything.

Last lines from program log …

Same problem from 2397 through 2302. I keep hoping a new update will work, but so far…no luck.

#6

Hi ALl,

SOrry about that,
If you are building interface.exe yourself make sure to make a clean build as some shaders have changed.
I ll try to take a look at it here too on intel as it seems to be a true issue there

#7

Yeah i am having fatal issues with 2338. It simply crashes on startup. had to clean up my “%APPDATA%/local/High Fidelity” folder completely before it started out properly.

#12

@judas @ctrlaltdavid did you try with a clean build?

#13

i never clean anything

ok ill try and let u know

#14

@chris Just tried now: uninstalled Interface; deleted Interface folders in AppData Local and Roaming. … Same problem, still.
