BUG: Avatar doesn't display, mouse stays in the center of the screen and distorts when i attempt to move it on my laptop

#1

I cant use the interface on my laptop.

all I see is this

I hear running water.

when I attempt to move my mouse instead of the expected motion the mouse either shrinks or distorts like in the picture.

When right clicking and moving the mouse the white plane in the picture rotates and sometimes turns blue.

this is strange considering that it runs fine on my desktop.

I suggest to downgarde and download 3397 for now, i never got the version you run as update. There’s possible still a big bug.

#3

mucking around with nvidia control pannel I was able to manually make the interface software use my graphics card and it seems to work just fine now.

Steps:
press the windows key
search for NVIDIA Control Panel
Click Manage 3d settings
click Global Settings tab
set the preffered graphics processor to the high performance NVIDIA Processor

#4

I notice the right menu still doesn’t work even when I do this…

#5

Actually, I have seen this very problem on all release of interface. For me it happens when I use a integrated graphics computer. The Intel HD4000 series exhibits this behavior.

#6

i have the intel hd 4600 so that prlly means i am unable to use this program then?

#7

It simply does not work. I tried running the latest interface app on my wife’s HP Spectre 360. It has an Intel HD5500 graphics chip and the same problem occurs. Now, it is understandable that performance might be anemic on those graphics chips, but a completely unworkable interface is going to leave a lot of people out in the cold a tad pissed off. Anyway, problem noted. I suspect it is not considered high priority.
