Bug: Avatar in Mouse look is now not animating since 2172

So with the change to have a separate avatar in mouselook, and zeroing the size of the head has caused an unintended side effect since build 2172:

Basically any animations played in world will not affect the movement of the avatar in mouselook: The result is that you Might as well not render the avatar at all in mouse look.

While we could fix this by bone rotations cloned from the world avatar, it sounds a bit redundant:
wouldn’t be less taxing to simply not just avoid rendering vertices in a predefined vertex group in client?
