Could not verify user

#1

I get in the domain server debug the message:

[10/11 12:30:17] [DEBUG] Could not verify user “summer4me…” as allowed editor. In the interim this user will be given edit rights to avoid a thrasing of public key requests and connect requests.

What dos this mean? Will now all users get editor rights at every domain, if they are not identified as allowed editors?

#2

Have found the function in DomainGateKeeper.cpp:

if (allowedEditors.contains(username)) {
// we have a non-empty allowed editors list - check if this user is verified to be in it
if (!verifiedUsername) {
if (!verifyUserSignature(username, usernameSignature, HifiSockAddr())) {
// failed to verify a user that is in the allowed editors list

            // TODO: fix public key refresh in interface/metaverse and force this check
            qDebug() << "Could not verify user" << username << "as allowed editor. In the interim this user"
                << "will be given edit rights to avoid a thrasing of public key requests and connect requests.";
        }

        canAdjustLocks = true;
    } else {
        // already verified this user and they are in the allowed editors list
        canAdjustLocks = true;
    }
}

So what is a verified username?

#3

I have seen and posted that a while ago the message. my name is correct in the editor but always have seen that message. i woudl say a valid user name is the one you use when you login at high fidelity. But that still generated the error.
