How access which hand called trigger or which mouse button clicked entity?



I’m writing a script which I’d like to have different results depending on whether you use the right or left hand to interact with the object (right to rotate clockwise, left to go counter clockwise). the various trigger functions (eg startNearTrigger ) aren’t currently documented.

I’d also like to be able to return custom rotation if you grab the object, how do I get the movement of the user out of startNearGrab?



I answered my own question, it’s in the pointerEvent which is an array with the first element being right or left if using controllers and otherwise pointerEvent.button returns the button if using a mouse.
