Interface crashes when activating avatars

Using build 503 on PC, I can only log in if I set avatars to false, activating them was taking my framerate down to 1 but now crashes interface.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go into the interface.ini file and set [Avatar%20Options]
    Avatars=false
  2. Log in normally, as soon as you connect and can see voxels, try to turn on avatars via the drop down menu

Forgot to mention in previous post that I am using a radeon graphics card - seems this might be a theme

One of my three computers that I am having this problem with has an Nvidia GT card. The commonality between the three is that they are all Windows 8.1 Build 9600.

Running fine in windows 8.1pro here have the integrated intel graphics (i don’t know how to see a build number but its upto date

Just to say this has been fixed now with latest build and I am over-joyed. Finally I can see the world around me and begin to participate in this amazing experience!!

As of build 539 on Windows, I no longer have to turn off avatar in order to log in. :slight_smile:
