I got it to work!!! Just need a faster Remote Desktop, though the client software runs brilliantly on everything from a Raspberry on up…
Okay so just tested on an iPhone and works there too! Here’s how:
Register a cloud gaming desktop (Windows Server 2016) with Parsec @ https://parsecgaming.com/cloud-gaming
Remote in from Parsec’s client (works on any PC, Mac, or Debian) or a remote desktop app for iOS (Splashtop is fastest)
For audio, the current solution is a Discord hack, but it actually works great @ https://support.parsecgaming.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000961232-Passing-Your-Microphone-To-Your-Cloud-Computer
Servers start at 47 cents an hour, and those are sufficient for Hifi. Parsec bills by connection time, so it’ll take a while to rack up the cost of a gaming rig
How do the input methods work on this?
They don’t on iOS, unless you have a bluetooth keyboard.
Ah makes sense, I wasn’t sure if it recognized any touch input.
