Laser pointer Intersection

Maybe I can get a quick and easy answer by asking a question here.

In VR, I can see my laser intersecting with an entity. Is there an easy way I can leverage the laser to get that entities properties that is being intersected?

I know I can use a ray, get the entity that that ray is intersecting with, but we have a perfectly working laser built into High Fidelity and I would love to leverage it for my own good. Thanks!

You might be able to get it from

this.startFarTrigger = function(one,two,three){}; I’m not sure how many arguments are returned but i think its 3 and i think its in one of them.
