Maya animation export fbx-to-Interface

Anyone have any tips for successfully seeing full animation clips inside FBX files exported from Maya 2015?
I’ve done some simple tests where I keyframe simple geometry in Maya rotating over 30 frames.
What I see in Interface when animation is enabled is what looks like just the first couple frames of the 30 cycling over and over.
I’ve played with all the first/last frame settings and nothing affects it.
Anyone ever see this kind of thing? Is there a trick to simply getting a box rotating correctly?
