Possible Bug: Emission not behaving as expected

I have a white cube with an orange white checker pattern and a Black/White texture defining emit:

Expected:

Got:

Other notes:

  • Whites also seem to be 80% of actual.
  • If alpha mask instead of black/white definition, everything is fullbright.

Occurs on Windows 7, build 2792:

@Menithal The “expected” screenshot shows two sides rendered one way and the third side rendered a different way. This is intentional? (Just checking.)

It is actually mirrored from another angle :slight_smile: but generally the same issue repeats with the blacks staying black instead of using the shader.

Edit: Fixed the image to be more precise, with a default cube as a shade example.
