Settings .lock file

On Windows, sometimes when Interface crashes you can end up with an Interface.ini.lock file alongside your settings.ini file and Interface freezes at start-up with a white screen. Deleting the .lock file lets Interface continue OK.

Q: Does the same thing happen on OSX? Linux?

Q: What directory is the .lock file in on OSX? Linux?

Hi,

i’m on OS X. It never happened to me that interface refused to start after a crash…and i crashed a lot.
I could not find a .lock file from Interface on my whole disk, even when Interface is running, but i also could not find a settings.ini file belonging to Interface on my disk.
