Using 2D surface flattened & TOONed hands as an assist

This paper describes techniques to create high fidelity hand gestures for assistive scenarios. By 2D flattening the hand gestures onto the common work surface and TOONing the ‘shadow hand’, a great deal of precision can be realized. The hand tracker can be just about any RGBD hand tracker.
