If you have an OS X machine, a Rift DK2, and the Razr Hydras - there’s a “golden path” you need to follow to get all three to work.
You can’t start Interface with the DK2 plugged in, or the Sixense library we use for the Hyrdas will try and grab the DK2 USB device that Oculus already has an exclusive lock on.
Here are the steps.
- Unplug the Rift DK2 USB cable. You can leave the HDMI cable and positional camera USB cable plugged in.
- Start interface.
- Plug the Rift DK2 USB cable back in once Interface is running.
- Check ‘Enable VR mode’ in the view menu - this should reconnect to your DK2 and you should be good to go.
The easiest way to get the display onto the Rift is to drag it to that extended desktop and then hit CMD+CTRL+F to fullscreen it.
